Bob Holt OBE joins the Logical Utilities Board

We are incredibly pleased to announce a significant appointment to our Board of Directors. Bob Holt OBE has joined our Board as Non-Executive Director for the UK businesses of The Logical Utilities Company.

Bob Holt started his career in 1970, and it has taken him to senior positions within some of the UK’s most high-profile companies. His leadership successes now mean that he is one of the UK’s most acclaimed businessmen. Bob’s most famous business achievement was his role in the high rise of Mears Group PLC, where he took control of the business in 1996 before successfully floating it onto the stock market. He now holds executive and non-executive roles in several companies. His experience, knowledge and passion for business are a tremendous addition to the board.

As well as his business expertise, Bob is known for and was awarded his OBE for his charity work, supporting more than 65 charitable organisations and individuals. He is also the founder of The Mears Foundation, The Footprints Foundation and The Holt Trust. The Trust produces teams of volunteers to work on projects in the UK and overseas that have improved the lives of tens of thousands of people.

Strengthening the Logical Utilities Board

Bob’s appointment to the Board comes when the world’s energy market is fluctuating. The rising costs for consumers and businesses and the need to source cleaner and more sustainable energy are adding pressure across the entire industry.
